In July last year I received an email from my friend Tom while in London asking if I wanted to go for a trip to Poland. He was heading there to go to the D.I.Y Hardcore Punk Festival, then travel from the top to bottom of Poland and check it out. It sounded like a good idea so I booked a ticket and headed to Gdansk. Tom had organised a hire car and some accommodation through couch surfers, and we made our way south staying with people we met along the way. I got a book so I could read about the history of Poland, and even after all the shit they have been through the people there are so friendly and welcoming. It was great a great trip.
